Signed between the British Government and Maharajah Gulab Singh of Jammu on March 16, 1846.

Signed between the Prime Minister of India, Lal Bahadur Shastri and the President of Pakistan, Mohammed Ayub Khan in Tashkent, (former Soviet Union) on January 10, 1966.

 

Signed between the Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi and President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Simla (India) on 2nd July, 1972.

Some of the commitments made by Indian authorities regarding Kashmir: Promises of Lord Mountbatten, Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru and others to hold a plebiscite in Kashmir.

 

India signed and agreed United Nations resolutions and its rulers repeatedly made commitments and promises for demilitarization and to hold a plebiscite in Kashmir according to these resolutions.
